Always with a clear goal in mind: market leadership. Our motivation for this change was our dissatisfaction with the existing range available on the market: we wanted to provide our customers with not only a better, but above all also a consistent quality of product and advice. Where we are today is the result of an eventful and successful history: In 1951, Walter Linder sen., company founder and whole-hearted entrepreneur, was already wired for success. When W&B Linder OHG aka “Draht Linder” began operation from the Chilehaus in the heart of Hamburg, the company started trading in wire baskets, nails and screws. The demand for wire in various forms was rapidly becoming more specialized. This became one of the company’s foundations, and to this day is an integral part of LINDER GmbH with decades of expertise in the specialty and original preoccupation of the company.

As a customer, you only see the end product: High-quality strapping “Made in Germany”. However, the high quality of our products is the result of the optimal interplay of numerous processes: starting with the purchase of the best raw materials, consistent quality control, state-of-the-art testing methods such as camera-assisted in-line strap-width monitoring, best advice in the sales department and then safe packaging & shipping of goods.

These processes are constantly being optimised as part of a Kaizen process and are regularly monitored by TÜV and certified with the ISO 9001 seal.

For other manufacturers, the sales process ends with the dispatch of the ordered goods - for us, that's where it really begins. Because at the end of the day, you as the customer want a perfectly functioning system consisting of strapping and strapping machine or strapping tools. If the equipment is worn or incorrectly adjusted, the system will no longer work. As a customer, however, you are not interested in whether the strap or the machine is to blame for the failure, but you want an immediate solution:

We therefore have a large team of experienced strapping technicians at your disposal for the maintenance of your strapping tools or even large-scale systems, ensuring maximum availability of your systems and equipment. This is because packaging, including strapping technology, is usually the last link in your production line and therefore often the bottleneck in the event of a breakdown. Our experienced technicians therefore ensure that you can concentrate on your core business.

Did you know that our PET strapping is made exclusively from recycled PET bottles?

We purchase over 200 million PET bottles from all over the world for our production every year, saving 17,500 tonnes of C02 emissions. And in our in-house Closed Industry Loop, we completely reprocess the production waste.

In this way, we produce all strap dimensions with maximum sustainability and the highest quality - Made in Germany.
